No trolling bite for us today so we put young Robert to work on some Triggerfish. He did good! The live-bait King Mackerel fishing is getting good so we are geared up for that. Really fun fishing w/light tackle. Plenty days available, call if interested. Thanks Rob!

Our friends Larry and crew on board today. Very pretty and calm out there. We held on to about half our Wahoo bites, not real lucky but that's Wahoo fishing some days. Larry caught a 48lber and Chip released a Sailfish. Thanks men!

Choppy day and slow fishing for us. They said it would fall out but it didn't, imagine that! We caught enough for dinner and missed a few others. Thanks Brad.

Not as lucky today. Our friends Roger and Cheryl and crew on board. We had the bites but couldn't hold on to em.  Ended up with a mixed bag of Wahoo, Dolphin, and a Yellowfin.  Cheryl released a Sailfish. Still pretty out there, try again tomorrow.

After catching a Sailfish and a couple dolphins this morning we struggled for a while. We made up for it this afternoon on the Wahoos. Everyone in the charter earned N.C. citations.  David w/a 42, John w/a 53 and the Sail, Jesse w/a 56 and Tyler w/a 60lber. Great job guys!  Really pretty day. We hope Maria stays away.

Wahoos and Dolphins today.  Molly earned a Wahoo citation w/a 48lber. Cody got one for a Sailfish release. Good fishing, pretty weather, and a great crew. Thanks Jon!

Not many wahoo bites so I went to the deep in search of Dolphins. Found plenty but they were stubborn. The crew stuck with it and we ended up with a limit.  Nice class of Bailers for this time of year.  Pretty most of the day, got a little breezy on the way home.  Thanks Brian and family!

Friday, August 25, 2017

The current against the East wind made for rough going today. We caught a couple Wahoos and jumped off a Sail. Better fishing for most, I just drove around them. Thanks Howard!

Wednesday, August 23, 2017

Wahoos and Dolphins for our make-up group in a choppy South-Wester. Wahoo fishing was much better for the fleet today. We were looking for Dolphins during the height of the bite but got there in time to catch a few.  Mike got a citation 40 lber. Thanks folks!

Tuesday, August 22, 2017

Still scappy. A couple Dolphins and Ed caught a sail. Beautiful day but a lot of current and hot water. Thanks Ryan.

Wednesday, August 16, 2017

The Wahoos gave us the snip and slip today but we managed to catch a little table fare.  9 year old Jayda caught a nice Dolphin her first trip offshore.  She did good.  Pretty day, just scrappy fishing. Thanks Linda and crew.

Thursday, August 10, 2017

Not many trolling bites where we fished today.  Shelbie caught the last Wahoo on our favorite planer rod this morning.  We found some bailer Dolphins this afternoon and the crew did well with the bailing tackle.  Nice day out there. Thanks Mike, enjoy the fresh fish!

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

A mixed bag in the rainy, breezy N/Easter today.  Catch a few Dolphins, Wahoo, and a Blackfin. Joseph caught a citation 44lb Wahoo.  Thank you guys!

OK folks, after a major accident, power outage, and Island evacuation we are happy to say electricity has been restored and Hatteras Island is back open for business on 8/4. The fishing has been pretty good w/some wahoos showing up and should just get better.  Still some Dolphins and Marlins around too.  We have plenty available days including weekends so give us a call and lets get after them.  252-473-8301

Sunday, June 25, 2017

After a bumpy ride out and squally conditions when we got there we picked at the bailers here and there ending up with a decent catch. Got pretty on the way home but I knew that before we left! Thanks Randy and crew!

Friday, June 23, 2017

The Dolphins were stubborn today but we finally located a few that were willing to bite for our make-up charter. Pretty this morning, choppy ride home in the S.Wester. Thanks fellas!

Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Bunch of Trenters on board today. It was good for some but scrappy for us. Our youngest anglers each caught nice Gaffers. Heather earned a N.C. citation with a big bull that weighed 35lbs. She did great! Pretty day.  Thanks Raymond, Roger, and crew.

Tuesday, June 13, 2017

My old friend Jesse on board today with some younger family members.  By old I mean I have known him a while, LOL. We set out on a nice change and found plenty of bailer dolphins. The young anglers took care of catching a limit pretty quickly. We trolled all over looking for bigger bites then a Blue Marlin showed up and it was Jesses turn. He has been close to catching one with me a couple times before but no luck. Today we finally pulled it off.  A mean 300lber that put on a good show when first hooked, then dogged it out. Thanks Jesse and congrats!

Monday, June 12, 2017

Our friend Lundy came down to get in the Dolphin action. Along with Dammon and Tommy's wife Pam and their son Thomas, his first time offshore. One stop shopping when we got there and they caught a limit in short order. A few more Marlins around today also. Very pretty day,Thanks Lundy!

Saturday, June 10, 2017

Great Dolphin fishing again today. We were a little behind this morning but we stuck with it and caught a limit. Thanks Kevin and crew, good thing you brought Oscar along!

Friday, June 9, 2017

Great Dolphin fishing today. We landed on a big school soon as we slowed down and the guys went to work with the bailing tackle. Looked for a bigger bite the rest of the time.  A lot prettier than I expected after all that wind.  Thanks Richard and crew, nice work!

Sunday, June 4, 2017

Not many trolling bites today so we got some groceries off the bottom. Fun and pretty day with MRV and Jimmy.

Saturday, May 27, 2017

Today Greg and Lisa wanted to Marlin fish. We caught a few Gaffers while we looked for a Blue one. We did raise one to a teaser but it didn't want anything with a hook. Weather was better than anticipated, pretty day really. Thanks guys, good luck on your next trip!

Saturday, May 20, 2017

This morning we found a nice school of Dolphins and the guys whacked em pretty good with the bailing tackle. We were lucky. Great sign of Marlins today but we did not see one. Loose nut behind the wheel I think. Thanks Ken and crew, you all did good!

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

This morning, after a bumpy ride, we found great Gaffer Dolphin fishing. The Angel crew did a great job getting used to the swell and picking off a really nice class of fish. We marlin fished for a while after that with no love from them.  Caught a few more fishing back in this afternoon.  Fishing is great right now. Thanks Steve!

High hopes after yesterday but things changed and it got scrappy again today. We still managed to catch a few Dolphin and a Wahoo. Thanks Clark!

A little on the scrappy side today but we caught a few. Thanks Matt and crew.

First trip of the season with John and Andrea. Weather man was wrong again.  It was windy until almost time to come in.  The False Albacores were ferocious but we somehow managed to pull a few Blackfin Tunas out of them.  Thanks guys!
