Slow for us today but we scrapped together a few Blackfin Tuna, some King Mackerel and a lonely Dolphin. David caught a citation 32lb. Blackfin on a live bait. Pretty day and great crew. Thanks guys!

Monday, October 3, 2016

We set out in search of Tuna but did not have much luck with them. Thank goodness for a couple floats that were holding Dolphins. Our young anglers did really great! Thanks John and Brett.

Thursday, September 29, 2016

Today the best of the Tuna fishing was a ways down the line from where we fished but we salvaged the day with a few Wahoo bites. Thanks Don and Beth!

Thursday, September 22, 2016

The Wahoos took the day off but Ed and crew made up for it with a limit of Dolphins and a few Tunas. Good fishing and a pretty day. Thanks guys and gals!

Monday, September 12, 2016

The Wahoos did not want to cooperate this morning so we went in search of Tunas. It didn't take long before we got into a good area of them. We ended up with a great catch of Blackfins and some Yellowfins mixed in with them. Lundy and Damon worked on 'em pretty good!

Friday, September 9, 2016

We missed the smack, smack snap, snap bite this morning but got there in time for the Wagners to have a good afternoon on the Wahoos. Pretty day, thanks Darryl and Beth!

Wednesday, September 7, 2016

It was a windy, choppy morning but the Sorours and Hilarios decided to stick it out. It payed off for them with a good catch of Wahoos. Had a lot of bites, fun fishing! Thanks a lot guys good fishing with you again!

Thursday, September 1, 2016

Great fishing today. We bailed a limit of Dolphins this morning then put the wire out and went Wahoo fishing. Our bite to landing ratio improved and we got most of them. Really nice out there, we hope Hermine doesn't mess things up too badly. Thanks Brad and crew, y'all did good for a bunch of Bass fishermen!

Friday, August 26, 2016

We caught a double header right out of the gate and one at 2:30. I steered around them the rest of the time. Oh well it was a beautiful day with a great crew. Thanks Joe and yuse guys!

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

The Wahoos had their way with us today but that's just wahoo fishin. Out of the few we landed Jeff and Andy each caught grown ones and earned North Carolina citations. Pretty day with a great crew.

Tuesday, August 23, 2016

It started out really pretty but the wind breezed up and it got choppy. Fishing was scrappy for us.We caught a couple Dolphin and a couple Wahoo, one being citation size. Thanks Leo and crew!

Thursday, August 18, 2016

It was a choppy ride coming and going but the gulf stream current made it a lot more bearable offshore. I went way deep looking for grass and Dolphins. We finally found some of both and the guys caught a few before they left us.  Fishing our way back in we had some Marlin action and ended up with a couple Sailfish.  Thank you Bryan and crew, great fishing with you all!

Wednesday, August 17, 2016

We found a nice school of bailers this morning and were catching them pretty good until a Blue Marlin showed up. He ran them off and made a pass at our decoy but we couldn't interest him with anything else. Caught a couple Blackfins as well. Thanks Peter and crew.

Tuesday, August 16, 2016

Overall it was very scrappy fishing for the fleet today but we were extremely lucky. We found a patch of grass this morning that was holding gaffers. Caught a Wahoo this afternoon and then found a tree limb that was holding a nice class of fish. The crew did an excellent job with the bailing tackle both stops. Thank you Bob, you should book a trip to Vegas asap!

Monday, August 15, 2016

Still a little scrappy for us. We found a beautiful weed line in the deep but no fish on it. Screaming gulf stream current shut it down out there. Found a school of Dolphins a little shallower and caught a few. Some boats were having a great morning on the Wahoo. We got there in time to catch a couple and a Blackfin. Very pretty day to fish.  Thanks Larry, Laura, and crew!

Thursday, August 11, 2016

After slow fishing yesterday it picked up today. Hope they hang around a while. The sailfish had their way with us but the guys took it out on the Dolphin. Thanks Bill and crew.

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

Today after not hearing much Dolphin activity we put out the wire and concentrated more on Wahoo. We were lucky and landed most of our bites.  Kenneth caught a Sailfish.  Had to dodge a few squalls but all in all a good day. Thanks Anthony!

Thursday, July 14, 2016

The "Lucky" Yocums on board today.  Last year they caught a grand slam and today, after I told them it was a struggle to catch anything the last few days, we found a big school of Dolphin in the deep and they caught their limit.  We had a few Wahoo bites this afternoon but couldn't hold on to them.  Evan also caught a Sailfish.  I would say the fishing has gotten a lot better, hope it stays this good for a while.  Great job guys, thanks John!

Thursday, July 7, 2016

First day of the Grand Slam tournament. Rough as a cob. We had a few Sailfish encounters but could not get one tight. 7 year old. Lily Hackney stayed with it and caught a couple Dolphin including this 19.7 lber. Great job Lily!  Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Some Dolphins for the N.C. State Fishing School. The fishing was not good enough for them to learn a lot but I think they learned a little. Very pretty day out there. Thanks Connie, Marisa, and crew!

Wednesday, June 8, 2016

Tropical storm Colin did us no favors for the fishing. We covered a lot of ocean for just a few Dolphins and a couple small Blackfin. Maybe better tomorrow I hope.  Least it was a pretty day. Thank you Gary and crew.

Saturday, June 4, 2016

It started out a little choppy for Rusty and crew but they hung in there and caught a few Gaffers.  It got beautiful after the squalls moved on. Thanks guys and gals!

A few Gaffer Dolphin for our make-up group. We found what we were looking for in the deep but the screaming current shut it down out there. Very pretty day,  Thanks guys.

Sunday, May 22, 2016

The McKittrick crew had good Gaffer Dolphin fishing and a few Blackfin Tunas. Thanks guys!

Friday, May 20, 2016

We wandered around and caught a Gaffer Dolphin here and there. Ended up with a decent catch of them and a Blackfin. The Yellowfins were too small to keep today. All in all a good day.  Thanks Frank and crew!

Monday, May 16, 2016

MRV and crew had a beautiful day to fish. We got lucky and found a float that was holding a school of Gaffer Dolphin and they did well on them. A bite here and there the rest of the time. Thanks guys!

Wednesday, May 11, 2016

The fishing slowed a little today. The guys caught a few Dolphins and we stopped and got a Grouper. The Blue Marlins made a better showing. Congrats to our dock partner who went 2 for 3.

Tuesday, May 10, 2016

The Roncadoris have a knack of showing up when the fishing is good. Today was no exception. They caught all the gaffer Dolphin they wanted and decided to call it an early day. Thank you Ronnie!  I hope you are enjoying the time with your family.

Saturday, May 7, 2016

Our friend Randy came down and caught a nice mess of gaffer Dolphin. Spent some time in the deep but no Marlin love yet.  Pretty day.  The Dolphin fishing should remain strong and there are a few Billfish around. We have days available so give me a ring!

Friday, May 6, 2016

The weather man got us again today but the crew hung in there and caught a handful of Dolphins and a Wahoo. Thanks Warren!
