Ricky and crew caught dinner and a show today. We started out with a few gaffers then switched to the Blackfin Tuna gear and that went well for a while. Went to the deep where Ricky released a feisty White Marlin and finished up the day with a late Gaffer Dolphin rally. Really great bunch of guys, we were glad to have you all on board!

A few Dolphins and some Blackfin Tunas for our make-up charter today. Thanks to Hatteras Harbor for getting them together.  Good sign of Marlins South of us.  Summertime fishing is heating up so give us a call to plan your day!

Windy day with scrappy fishing. We put together a little pile of meat for Mr. Jim and crew.  Thanks guys and enjoy the Mahi.

We went after dinner and a movie today.  We caught a little for dinner but no movie.  The marlins did not bite as well today as yesterday.  Still a good time with a great crew.

Not much meat in the water we fished today.  Went to the bottom and caught a few tilefish and a Snowy Grouper.  Highlight was a double header Sailfish that our anglers did excellent work on.  Beautiful weather out there today, hope it continues. Thanks guys and thank you Veterans!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend

We decided to brave a windy Nor'easter this morning.  It was rough and choppy but the guys were rewarded with a nice catch of gaffers. We turned a soldier into a sailor today.  Thanks for your service Marcel.

A bite here and there for our make-up charter today. We ended up with a decent catch of gaffer Dolphin on a pretty day. Thanks guys!

The boys from Va. Beach wanted to catch a few Gaffers and go to the beach and sight-cast cobias. A stiff Southeaster made it choppy and hard to fish offshore but we still caught a few.  Inshore we saw a dozen cobias and caught one throw-back. Great having you all on board and Mike you owe me a saillure!

Pretty Day

Caught a few more Gaffers today.  Prettiest day we have fished so far this year.  The grass is still scattered but we found an area that was holding a few fish, including a 40 lb citation for Walt! Good luck to all our friends fishing the Hatteras Village Offshore Open.  There are some Blue Marlins out there.  Two are still being fought as I type this!

The ocean was full of scattered grass which made for difficult fishing conditions.  We lawn-mowered through it and caught a few nice gaffers.  A little choppy, but a good day overall.

More Gaffers

A strong Gulf  Stream current slowed the fishing a bit today but we stuck with it and put together a nice catch of gaffer Dolphins. Very nice out there today, slick calm.  We also raised a Blue Marlin that wasn't very hungry.  Great time of year to fish!

The fishing was very scrappy for us today.  We caught 3 dolphins and made a bottom drop to sweeten the pot.  Hearing some good reports from down South so the fishing should break wide open anytime now.  Plenty of days, including weekends, still available for charter. We are also available for some upcoming Marlin tournaments. Give me a call to plan your trip offshore.

Sushi!

Old friends Roger and Mike on board today.  We found a challenging inlet and a choppy ride out this morning that gave way to a pretty day.  A gaffer and 3 Yellowfins right out of the gate and few bites the rest of the day.  Fishing was not as good as we hoped but should improve greatly.  Hopefully tomorrow!  Enjoy the Sushi gang and thanks for the bologna!
